BCS Grad Longtime Resident

Peggy taught third grade at North Elementary for 31 years and touched more Bellevue lives than she ever knew. She was a charter member of the Bellevue Community Theater and an avid baker who rarely left a neighbor without a plate of cookies.

In Memory of Robert 'Bob' Janssen

1951 – 2025 / Lived in Bellevue 50+ years

Veteran Longtime Resident

Bob served his country and then came home to serve his community at VFW Post 4458 for four decades. He spent his retirement fishing at Castalia Ponds and cheering on the Redmen football team from the same spot in the bleachers every Friday night.

Bellevue Native Church Member

Helen was a founding member of the St. Mary's women's group and spent sixty years volunteering at the food pantry. Her family says she never met a stranger and never forgot a birthday. She is survived by her four children and twelve grandchildren.

Railroad Worker Veteran

Don retired after 35 years working the yards at Norfolk Southern in Bellevue and spent his remaining years woodworking in his garage and spoiling his grandchildren. He was proud of his Italian heritage and his vegetable garden, which neighbors claim could feed the entire block.
